Be the first to gaze upon your Precious Pearl, but first, you have a little bit of fun before you see your Precious Pearl for the first time. Inside each Precious Pearl Gift Box Set, comes an oyster (in a sealed can - NOTE: Do not eat the oyster), a high quality silver necklace, and a wedge to help you pry open the shell.The first step will be to remove the oyster from the sealed can. Each can comes with an easy open top. Simply pull the tab towards the edge of the can and then pull the tab using the loop. See the illustration on the right-side of this page to see how easy it is. Be careful after you open the can. The edges may be sharp.
The second step will be to use the wedge included in the Precious Pearl Gift Box Set to open the shell. If you accidentally lost the wedge, don't worry. You can use a butter knife to open the shell. We recommend NOT using a sharp object to open the shell.
Before you open your Precious Pearl, we recommend you make a wish. It's a lot like making a wish on the first star you see each night or a falling star. A Precious Pearl is a wonder to behold and certainly worth wishing on as pearls are some of the most lucky gems in the world. Also, because no one has ever seen the pearl inside before, we can't tell you whether the pearl is going to be Gold, White, Lavender, Cream, or Peach.
Now, simply insert the wedge into the mouth of the shell and begin to pry along the mouth of the shell. The shell should open, revealing your pearl inside. Since this is a real oyster, you might need to move the mollusk around to find the pearl. Leave the pearl in the shell for now.
The third step is to open the Precious Pearl silver charm. You will need to remove the charm from the chain. At the bottom of the charm, you will see a hinge that will indicate which way you need to pull the charm apart. The charm should open fairly easily, so you don't need to pry too hard to open it up.
The fourth step is to simply place your Precious Pearl inside your Precious Pearl charm. Make sure the pearl is securely in the charm before you close it. Then, just slide the charm back onto the necklace and you have a beautiful, elegant Precious Pearl necklace.
